Meet Cupcake

Cupcake was born with what she calls an an insane love for all animals. When she discovered a high kill animal shelter in the early 90’s she loaded her SUV with as many animals as possible and took them to her home. Her dream to save their lives gave her the vision to create a downtown adoption center where the abandoned cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies were fostered by both local community members and tourists. Countless caring individuals became united as volunteers, foster parents, donors and adopters. The life saving programs implemented at the Center are the solutions to taking our country to become a no-kill nation. Today Cupcake’s mission is to promote these crucial programs nation-wide by sharing her stories of hope, humor and experience with fostering over a thousand animals during her thirty years in animal rescue. To date the Animal Adoption Center has spayed, neutered and adopted over twenty thousand animals throughout Wyoming.
